Balatonfüred
The city Balatonfured is located north of the Plattensee (lake) and is one of the most beautiful and recognised recreation spots at the north bank of the Balaton.
Located at the north bank of the Plattensee, Balatonfured has been famous for more than 200 years as a spa due to its sources of carbonated water. The town is known as the Mekka for patients with heart conditions and it is also Western Hungary's living museum, the home of grapes and wines.
